Overview
Developed the official Make-A-Wish Philippines website in WordPress, creating a responsive and engaging platform that communicates the organization's mission of granting wishes for children with critical illnesses. The website was structured to showcase wish stories, fundraising initiatives, news and blog content, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support the organization. The project focused on creating an accessible and user-friendly experience that encourages visitors to learn about the foundation and get involved.
Custom Web Development
- Developed the website in WordPress with custom page layouts and content sections.
- Created structured pages for the organization's mission, programs, wish stories, fundraising activities, and ways to help.
- Developed dedicated sections for Wishes, allowing visitors to learn about children whose wishes have been granted.
- Created Donate and fundraising call-to-action sections to encourage visitor support.
- Developed content sections for News & Blog articles, wish-impact stories, fundraising campaigns, and organizational updates.
- Implemented Volunteer and other engagement sections to provide visitors with different ways to support the organization.
- Created structured layouts for the organization's Shop and other support-related content.
- Implemented responsive layouts and interactive elements to improve user engagement.
- Organized content so that important information and calls to action are easy to find.
- Implemented SEO-friendly page structures and optimized images and website assets.
Responsive Design
- Optimized the website for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Created responsive layouts for wish stories, fundraising campaigns, blog content, and donation sections.
- Adjusted typography, spacing, imagery, and navigation for different screen sizes.
- Maintained consistent branding and visual hierarchy throughout the website.
- Ensured donation and support-related calls to action remain accessible on mobile devices.
- Tested pages across modern browsers and devices for compatibility and usability.
