Overview
Developed the official Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation website in WordPress based on an approved Figma design. The project focused on creating a modern, responsive product-focused website that showcases Wheeltek's extensive range of motorcycles, cars, and watercrafts. A key feature of the project was the development of a custom product comparison functionality that allows users to select vehicles and compare their specifications side by side. I also handle ongoing content maintenance, including updating product information, news, images, and other website content.
Custom Web Development
- Developed the website in WordPress based on an approved Figma design.
- Converted Figma layouts into responsive and functional WordPress pages.
- Developed product listing pages for motorcycles, cars, and watercrafts.
- Created structured product pages containing vehicle descriptions, pricing, variants, images, and detailed specifications.
- Developed reusable layouts for individual vehicle and product pages.
- Implemented custom product comparison functionality, allowing visitors to select multiple vehicles and compare their specifications.
- Developed a dedicated Compare Products page for displaying selected vehicles and their specifications side by side.
- Structured technical specifications such as engine type, displacement, transmission, dimensions, fuel capacity, power, torque, and other vehicle attributes for comparison.
- Added product Compare functionality directly to product listing and related-product sections.
- Implemented inquiry and call-to-action sections to encourage customers to request more information about specific vehicles.
- Customized website components using CSS and JavaScript to achieve the required functionality and visual design.
- Implemented SEO-friendly page structures and optimized images and page assets.
Responsive Design
- Optimized the website for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Created responsive layouts for product catalogs, vehicle details, and comparison tables.
- Ensured product images, specifications, pricing, and comparison features remain usable on smaller screens.
- Adjusted typography, spacing, and layouts for different screen sizes.
- Maintained consistent branding and visual hierarchy throughout the website.
- Tested pages and interactive features across modern browsers and devices.
