Overview
Built a fully responsive WordPress website for Chef Patrick's Kitchen, a Filipino-Chinese restaurant and catering business, using the Divi Theme. The website was developed from an approved Figma design and showcases the company's catering services, event venues, menu offerings, and reservation system. The project focused on delivering a modern user experience, improving online visibility, and making it easy for customers to inquire about bookings and events.
Custom Web Development
- Developed the entire website in WordPress using the Divi Theme, closely following the approved Figma design.
- Built reusable Divi layouts and custom sections to create a consistent design throughout the website.
- Added custom CSS and JavaScript to enhance functionality and achieve design elements beyond Divi's default capabilities.
- Developed multiple custom pages, including the homepage, menu, catering services, event venues, contact page, and reservation sections.
- Optimized page layouts for readability, user engagement, and conversion.
- Configured contact and reservation forms to streamline customer inquiries.
- Implemented basic on-page SEO, including optimized page structure, headings, metadata, and image optimization for improved search visibility.
Responsive Design
- Ensured the website delivers a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Optimized typography, spacing, and layouts for different screen sizes.
- Improved loading performance through image optimization and efficient page structure.
- Maintained consistent branding and user experience across all pages.
- Tested responsiveness across modern browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and usability.
